FireCMD provides UNIX/Linux like virtual environment on Windows operating systems such as Windows XP, Vista, 2008 Server, 2003 Server, Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10. FireCMD installs a Unix to Windows integration toolkit (UWIN) that gives you all the features of a traditional UNIX operating system on a Windows OS (32 and 64 bit). FireCMD also provides a GUI wrapper (terminal emulator) which can be used to run command shells in a GUI environment which makes interaction user-friendly and more productive. Moreover, if you are a Cygwin fan, you can also run Cygwin in FireCMD's terminal emulator environment to get a Linux like feeling on Windows.
