FireCMD can be accessed in the following ways:
- By opening the executable file FireCMD.exe present in the installation directory (Default installation directory is "Program Files\FireCMD").
- By using the desktop shortcut (A desktop shortcut FireCMD.lnk is created automatically during installation).
- By using the run dialog box. Type "firecmd" in run dialog box without quotes and press enter. (It is not case sensitive).
- To directly open an executable file or batch script files (.bat/.cmd) in the console emulator environment you can follow two ways.
- Simply drag and drop the file on FireCMD.exe's icon or on the desktop shortcut's icon. If the file is not an executable file, it will be opened in FireTXT text editor.
- Right click on the executable file or batch script and select “Open with FireCMD”.
